Jake holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University.

Jake practices in the areas of property and commercial law, primarily in property development and syndication, trusts, contract drafting and the sale and purchase of residential, commercial and industrial properties.

Jake was recently recognised as a Rising Star in the 2026 Doyle’s Guide for property lawyers in Western Australia, which identifies future leading lawyers within the property and real estate market in WA.

• acted for a developer on the purchase of a residential development site north of Perth for $50m;
• acted for a developer on the purchase of a residential development site south-east of Perth for $15.5m;
• the sale of a residential development site in Kenwick for $8m;

Commercial Properties

• the purchase of a leased commercial building in Fremantle for $18.2m;
• the purchase of a leased medical centre in the south-west for $9.25m;
• the purchase of a leased commercial building in Belmont for $8.15m;

Resorts and Leisure

• the purchase of a resort and associated winery in the south-west for $10.2m;
• advising on the purchase of a holiday and caravan park in Carnarvon for $6.1m;
• advising on the purchase of a development site south of Perth for the development of a brewery;

Specialist Disability Accommodation

• managing the acquisition, disposal, financing and development of a 40+ site portfolio for a local specialist disability accommodation housing developer;
